Mini-Workshop on Music 2021

Hi, I’m Barry Landis, the guy with the outstretched arms, Tribe Leader of The Briner Institute (a network of like-minded individuals dedicated to improving culture through media and entertainment) and the sponsor of this gathering.

What you see here is a group of some of my best friends from the music industry— all of them with at least 20 years’ experience working in Christian music. Wow, 14 people x 20 years = 280 years of experience!

We gathered together recently to talk about the current Christian music scene and I asked them to help me envision the future. Here’s what we did: I gave them an Exercise and they wrote out their thoughts on the whiteboards you see here (see the white boards in the background). And we prayed about that future becoming a reality.

If you know one or more of these guys say a prayer for them today. If you don’t know any of them, say a prayer for all of them as they prayerfully think and act on inspiration to continue to be Salt & Light, not only to the world around us, but to the very industry which supports their families.

We have committed to continue working on this project— maybe forever, but at least for now, we are looking at the next 20 years. Check in to the Briner Institute website every now and then and we will keep you posted with updates on the 2041 Project.
