1993--Roaring Lambs written by author, speaker and television executive Bob Briner.
1999—June, Bob Briner dies in Greenville, IL
2000—Steve Taylor, GM/Squint Records, produces the Roaring Lambs CD Collection and Zondervan releases the paperback version of Roaring Lambs with Bible Study questions.
2001—Robert A Briner Impact Award in Media first given by Mark Joseph together with Biola University.
2004—Barry Landis meets Vanderbilt Vice Chancellor Harry Jacobson.
2005—Jacobson funds the Vanderbilt Entertainment & Media Summit in Nashville. More than 120 attend (website link)
2007—As a result of the Vanderbilt Summit, The Briner Institute is established as a TN 501c3 non-profit.
2009—Discussions with Grand Canyon University about Briner Institute making a home in Phoenix.
